Writers Lab in partnership with moviepilot

Each week will focus on a key craft step for developing your screenplay. You apply this craft step during the week, then return to workshop your ideas in the next class. The second half of each class is devoted to focusing on the next development step to be worked on during the week, then workshopped in the subsequent class... and so on. At the end of the course, you will have completed key steps that professional screenwriters use to develop their screenplays. This will enable you to speed ahead with your writing process, secure in the knowledge that you have a solid foundation on which to build.

5 Thursday evenings from 19.00-21.30 hrs

Week 1: What's Your Big Idea? (1st March)
Week 2: Creating Your Story World (8th March)
Week 3: Structuring Your Story (15th March)
Week 4: Developing Characters (22nd March)
Week 5: Writing Your Beat Sheet (29th March)
